To enhance your wax melting experience, our wax melts are expertly crafted using a blend of all-natural soy wax and pillar soy wax. This unique combination ensures that you can easily break off and remove the desired portion for your melter.

We take great care in selecting the finest fragrance oils, exclusively sourced from reputable Canadian suppliers. For a complete list of oils that are free from parabens and phthalates, kindly refer to our fragrance list located at the bottom of our website.

Shipping policy

All orders are processed within 1 to 3 business days (excluding weekends and holidays) after receiving your order confirmation email.

You will receive another notification when your order has shipped. 

Domestic Shipping Rates and Estimates

Shipping charges for your order will be calculated and displayed at checkout. Shipping is currently calculated through Canada Post by Kilogram (kg). In partnership through Shipstation we are offered slightly discounted rate for Canada Post. However we are constantly looking for other couriers to partner with and add to our list for potential customer to use.

Below is an example of the shipping options currently as of January 7th, 2023. These options you would see during the checking out process.

To get a better idea of the estimated cost & time for your delivery; continue to the checkout page with shipping information. An estimated price and time from Canada Post will be calculated.

Local Pickup

You can skip the shipping fees with free local pickup at 121 Water Street West, Cornwall, Ontario. After placing your order and selecting local pickup at checkout, your order will be prepared and ready for pick up within 1 to 2 business day(depending on requested order amount)s. We will send you an email when your order is ready along with instructions. 

Our pickup hours are 8AM-5PM on weekdays. Please have your order confirmation email with you when you come.

Local Delivery

Local Delivery is available at checkout. Current charge for local delivery within the Cornwall-SDG is $5. Delivery fee is subject to change. 

How do I check the status of my order?

When your order has shipped, you will receive an email notification from us which will include a tracking number you can use to check its status.

Please allow 48 hours for the tracking information to become available. 

If you haven’t received your order within 5 business days of receiving your shipping confirmation email, please contact us at candles@marsolights.com with your name and order number, and we will look into it for you.

We accept returns up to 30 days after delivery if the item is unused and in its original condition, and we will refund the full order amount minus the shipping costs for the return.

In the event that your order arrives damaged in any way, please email us as soon as possible at candles@marsolights.com with your order number and a photo of the item’s condition. We address these on a case-by-case basis but will try our best to work towards a satisfactory solution.

• Choose the Right Warmer: Select a wax melt warmer or burner that suits your style and room size. It should be stable and sit level to avoid Shop Warmers
• Use Proper Melting Techniques: Place your wax melt in the warmer's dish or tray. Never add water, and make sure you use the recommended amount for your specific warmer.
• Start with One Cube: If you're new to wax melts, begin with one cube. Add more if needed to achieve your desired scent intensity.
• Monitor While Melting: Never leave your wax melt warmer unattended while it's in use. Keep a close eye on the melting process and ensure it's in a safe, stable location.
• Safe Wax Disposal: When your wax melt is done, allow it to cool and harden. Dispose of it responsibly in accordance with your local waste disposal regulations. Never pour hot wax down the drain. It can cause a clog and other plumbing issues.
• Keep Out of Reach: Place your wax melt warmer out of the reach of children and pets to prevent accidental burns and spills.
• Storage: Store your wax melts according to who you buy from. We recommend a cool or dry area such as a drawer to avoid any unexpected melting of super hot days!
